New Delhi, April 2: SRM Institute of Science and Technology has extended the last date for submitting online application form of SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) 2019 till April 20. Earlier, the deadline for submission of the application form was March 31, 2019. The Institute has extended the registration date in order to allow more students to apply.
For candidates who belong to the remote areas and have limited access to online resources, the OMR application form of SRMJEEE 2019 has been also made available by the authorities.
Steps to fill application form
The below-mentioned steps should be followed for applying:
Step 1- Candidates will be required to register for appearing in the entrance exam by submitting their name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
Step 2- They will have to log in using the required credentials.
Step 3- Personal, contact, academic and other details about the candidates have to be filled in this step.
Step 4- The required application fee has to be paid via online mode.
Step 5- The required documents have to be uploaded by the applicants as per specifications.
Only candidates born between July 1, 1998 and July 1, 2003 are eligible to apply. Moreover, only Indian nationals or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India can register.
About SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam
SRMJEEE is a computer-based entrance test that is conducted annually for admissions to various B.Tech courses offered by the institute at its four campuses located in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Delhi-NCR Ghaziabad campuses, SRM University Delhi-NCR Sonepat Haryana as well as SRM University AP, Amaravati.
Around 1,72,825 students applied online in 2018 out of which, as many as 7,600 were called for counseling. A total of 7,000 seats are offered by the university across all its campuses and group universities.
