CSIR declares UGC NET result 2018 for December session

New Delhi, April 6: The result of CSIR UGC NET for December session (exam held on December 16, 2018) has been announced by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. The result has been declared in online mode, wherein the qualified candidates can check their roll numbers and ranks in a PDF file. As many as 1,969 candidates have qualified for JRF (NET) while a total of 67 candidates have qualified for JRF only. As many as 1,500 candidates have qualified for lectureship. The result can be checked on the official website of CSIR- http://csirhrdg.res.in/.

Cutoff marks and scorecard to be released soon

CSIR is expected to release the UGC NET cutoff for December in a couple of days. Subject-wise and category-wise cutoff marks will be made available soon. Along with the cutoff, the scorecard will also be accessible for the test takers at the same time. They will have to enter their registration number and date of birth in the login window in order to download their scorecard.

Earlier, the result for CSIR UGC NET June session was announced on November 28 and the cutoff and scorecard were made available on November 30. A total of 7,306 candidates qualified the examination, the result data for the June session stated.

CSIR conducts UGC NET every year for recruiting lecturers/assistant professors across the colleges and universities in India. Along with that, it is also held for offering the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) NET to the candidates in subjects under the faculty of science and technology.
