UP Board class 12 result declared for Arts, Science and Commerce streams

New Delhi, April 27: The class 12 results for Uttar Pradesh has been declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) at 1:30 pm on April 27. Candidates can check their results online on the official website of Uttar Pradesh education board – upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, and upmspresults.up.nic.in. The class 12 results have been announced for all the streams – Arts, Science and Commerce. According to media reports, the pass percentage in the exam is 70.02 per cent.

As mentioned above, the UP board class 12 results are available online. Students who appeared for the class 12 exam from any of the above mentioned streams can download their results by using their roll number and year of exam.

Here are the steps to download the result of UP board class 12 result:

  1. Candidates can log into the official websites to check their UP board result-   upmspresults.up.nic.in, upmsp.edu.in, and upresults.nic.in

  2. Click on class 12 results link on the homepage of the website

  3. You will be taken to the exam results page

  4. Click on the drop year of examination,

  5. Enter roll number as per the admit card of UP Board class 12,

  6. Enter CAPTCHA code as given on the screen, and click on submit

  7. UP board results will be displayed

  8. Take a printout of your result

Candidates can also get their UP Board class 12 result via sms. Candidates can get their result by following the given steps:

  1. Type in UP12(space)roll number

  2. Send to 56263

  3. The result will be displayed on the phone

It should be kept in mind that students can take the online result as the official proof of their results. At the time of admission for higher studies they have to present their official marksheets. The official marksheet will be released by the UP education board a few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates can collect their marksheets from their respective schools.

Over 6 lakh students fail

According to media reports, over 6  lakh students have failed the UP board class examinations while 403 students had been expelled due to cheating. Most of the cheating cases ensued during the Physics exam of class 12 at Muzaffarnagar.

The UP board class 12 exam was conducted from February 7 to March 2. Over 29 lakh students appeared for the exam. The evaluation process took place between March 8 to 25 across 203 centres across the state.
