New Delhi, April 27: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the results for Uttar Pradesh Board classes 10 on April 27. The results for the class 10 exam was released at 1 pm. Students who appeared for either of the exam can check their class 10 results at upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. According to reports, 80.07 per cent students have cleared the class 10 exam. Gautam Raghuvanshi has emerged the topper in the state with 97.17 per cent.
Before the UP class 10 exam results were published online it was announced by the UP state education board at Prayagraj. Candidates can now check their results online.

Enter year of examination, Roll number as per the admit card, and the verification code as given on the screen.

Students are advised to take a printout of their UP board result for reference. However, it should be kept in mind that the online result is only provisional and it not an actual marksheet. The original marksheet of UP board result will be distributed by the board and therefore, by the schools. Students can collect their marksheets from their respective schools.

83.98 per cent girls pass the UP board class 10 exam
While Gautam Raghuvanshi is the first topper in the exam, Shivam and Tanuja Vishwakarma are the second and third toppers respectively. Shivam scored 97 per cent and Tanuja scored 96.83 per cent.
According to reports, the pass percentage for UP board class 10 result has gone by a notch this year. In 2018,75.16 per cent students had cleared the class 10 examinations. The pass percentage of girls in the exam is 83.98 per cent while that for boys it is 76.66 per cent.
Reports also suggest that over six lakh students have failed the UP board class examinations while 403 students had been expelled due to cheating. Over 58 lakh students appeared for the class 10 examination. The exam was conducted from February 7 to 28.
