New Delhi, Mar 3: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revealed the result date for RRB group D 2018. According to reports, RRB is expected to declare the results for RRB Group D exam on March 4, 2019. The result was earlier expected to be released on February 28.
The 16 Railway Recruitment Board will publish the results separately. The result would be out in the pdf format. The exam was conducted in the compute based format and candidates who appeared for the test can check their results online. Candidates can check the result pdfs by entering their user ID and password, which were created at the time of applying for the test.

- log into the site for each of the 16 RRBs
- enter the user ID and password created at the time of applying
- download the PDF
- take a printout
What is included in RRB Group D result and what next:
The result for RRB group D will include the roll number of all the candidates who clear the exam. Candidates can check their results against their roll numbers on the pdfs. Further, the scorecard also includes the candidates name, Raw score, Pro-rated score, Normalised score, roll number, Post applied, Quality status for appearing in PET. The normalized score will be released as the exam was held across multiple sessions from September 17 to December 17. The raw scores, which is out of 100 will be normalized. Candidates got 1 mark for every correct answer, while 1/3 marks have been deducted for every wrong answer.
Candidates who qualify will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to be finally selected. RRB group D first-stage exam was held in the computer based mode. While over one crore candidates appeared for the test, around 1,25,814 are expected to be selected in the first-round. The qualifying marks for the general or unreserved category students is 40 marks or 40 per cent. The qualifying marks for OBC, SC and ST is 30 per cent.
RRB group D exams include 3 stages. Stage 1 is held in the CBT mode, stage two is the PET and stage three result will be declared on the basis of the test takers performance in all the stages -CBT, PET and document verification- combined.
