Kerala SSLC exam 2019 to begin from March 14 onwards

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 7: Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination will be commenced from March 14, 2019 and will conclude on March 27. Without any fine, students can submit the exam fee between November 7 and 19. The fee can also be paid with the fine from November 22, 2018 to 30 at the test centres. 4,31,762 students qualified SSLC exam 2018

The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) released the result of the SSLC exam 2018 on May 3 for the examination conducted from March 7 to 28. The exam was held at as many as 2,935 centres in the state and nine each in Lakshadweep and the Middle East. A total of 4,31,762 students qualified the exam. This year, the overall pass percentage is nearly two per cent higher than the last year’s. It is 97.84 per cent this year which was 95.98 per cent in 2017.

As many as 34,313 students have secured A+ in all subjects. A total of 517 government schools and 659 aided schools totaling to 1,565 schools have got 100 per cent result this year.

C Raveendranath, Kerala education minister, has also announced the result of THSLC, THSLC (Hearing impaired), AHSLC, SSLC (hearing impaired) exams. The pass percentage for THSLC students was 98.6 per cent.

About Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination

On successful completion of an examination, the SSLC certification is obtained by a student at the end of study at the secondary schooling level.
