The move will allow medical colleges to add more seats as per revised norms
The move was taken in a bid to allow medical institutes to apply for adding more seats as per the revised guidelines under which the ICU beds will be included in the total bed strength of the medical colleges which in turn would create more seats in post graduate courses. The new regulations also made it mandatory for each post graduate teacher to have more number of students.
