Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University releases UPSEE 2019 admit card; last date to download April 21

New Delhi, April 16: Admit cards for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2019 have been released by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on its official website. Candidates, who will be appearing for the entrance exam on April 21, can download their hall ticket now. The results are expected to be declared in the last week of May.

Scrutiny of the answer sheets can be done by candidates after the result is announced. They will have to make a payment of Rs. 5,000 per paper and apply for rechecking within a week from the date of result declaration. Candidates should send the application for the same in writing to the Registrar, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

For the merit of successful candidates, the cutoff percentage of marks in UPSEE 2019 is 25 per cent. As per the Uttar Pradesh state government order, there is a relaxation of five per cent for candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST).

What’s new in UPSEE 2019?

  • This year, the test-takers have the choice of getting their answer sheets scrutinised by paying the fee.
  • The total number of test centres has been increased this year. Within UP, the number is 42 and outside UP, the exam centres have been raised to 17.
  • For other state candidates, the seats have been increased to twenty per cent across privately held institutions of AKTU. Earlier, it was ten per cent.

There are nearly 400 engineering institutes that offer admissions through UPSEE.

For engineering aspirants, the entrance exam will be held in offline mode for a duration of three hours. There will be as many as 150 questions, and the maximum marks will be 600.
