CAT Preparation Books: The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the toughest management entrance exams in India. The exam assesses a candidate’s ability in three areas-  Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR). This is considered one of the trickiest sections to score in CAT. However, just like Quantitative Ability conceptual clarity is very important to get a high score in this section. CAT exam pattern 

Along with the best books for CAT preparation, candidates should know the exam pattern of CAT to have good understanding of the exam and the scoring process. the computer based test includes based on both MCQ and non MCQ based questions. Students are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted fro every wrong answer. The total marks for CAT is 300 and the total number of questions is 100.
